Beautiful Phoenix Maternity Session In A Storm | Arizona Monsoon Season

The whole drive to this session, I saw storm clouds forming, and it even rained a little. I knew that this was either going to be a disaster or PERFECT and no in-between. Cameras weren’t exactly made for the rain but if you can safely make it work, the outcome is gorgeous. When we got there, we were greeted by this beautiful wall of a stormy backdrop. It sprinkled lightly but never fully rained on us. The droplets hitting the tall grass created such a peaceful sound and this mama made photographing her beauty, totally effortless for me.

The dress can be found in my client closet, and as you can tell, it photographs like a dream. The top is a vintage lace, and the skirt is a rust velvet. The dress ranges from about a size 0 to a 16 by a cinch tie in the waist. This mama wore the nude slip under it, which is also available in the closet but can be worn with or without a nude bra too. I sure hope more clients opt to use this dress for their sessions in the future.
